Work at a fixed screening site to support the efficient operation of the screening service, including performing screening mammograms to high quality standards, providing client-centred care, supporting reception and data management, maintaining mammography equipment and completing quality assurance procedures. The role may include clinical supervision, coaching less experienced staff, assisting with orientation, continuous professional development and working autonomously or as part of a team. Essential requirements include tertiary qualifications acceptable to the Professional Accreditation and Education Board of the Australian Society of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy, registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia to practise in Victoria, a Certificate Mammography Practice or completion within 12 months of commencement, and a current Victorian Radiation User Licence. Previous mammography experience, commitment to continuing professional development, strong communication and organisational skills, problem-solving ability, and the capacity to work independently and collaboratively are required.
