Work with the Chief Investigator, Project Lead and wider project team on a project assessing artificial intelligence tools in the BreastScreen Victoria environment. The project aims to improve the breast screening image reading process through future-proof infrastructure for evaluating three or more AI tools and real-world clinical evaluation of AI models, including impacts on reading processes, quality, costs and clients. Responsibilities include developing the project protocol and plan, completing the Human Research and Ethics Committee application, managing and analysing quantitative data, writing reports and recommendations, supporting communications and stakeholder management, and supporting future change arising from project recommendations. The role requires a PhD or equivalent in a relevant discipline, demonstrated independent and team-based research capability in a population health setting, strong analytical, organisational, communication and stakeholder engagement skills, and a collaborative approach. Experience with artificial intelligence, data analytics, Human Research and Ethics Committee submissions and working with clinicians is desirable.
