BreastScreen Victoria is seeking expressions of interest for two vacant Board positions. Board members help ensure effective governance, set strategic direction, oversee strategic objectives and lead the organisation's culture. Applicants will be shortlisted based on high-level skills, experience and knowledge in governance, strategy, compliance, accounting and finance, legal responsibilities, risk management, people management and change, and not-for-profit population screening. Preferred candidates will bring expertise in information technology, digital transformation or digital disruption, or clinical expertise in breast cancer screening or treatment and experience improving the client or patient experience. Board members serve a three-year ministerially appointed term, with the potential for two further terms, and are expected to participate in Board and committee meetings, induction and training, and at least one Standing Committee. Formal Board governance qualifications and experience on a public or not-for-profit Board are highly regarded. Applicants must pass the required background checks before appointment.
