Torys is seeking a tax associate with two to five years of relevant experience for its U.S. tax group in New York. The practice represents institutional clients in significant U.S. and cross-border corporate transactions and business operations and works with M&A, securities, real estate, and competition and foreign investment specialists. Candidates should have at least three years of experience in a U.S. law firm tax practice, broad U.S. and cross-border transaction experience including M&A, excellent research, writing, interpersonal and drafting skills, curiosity about tax law, the ability to manage multiple files and strong client service and teamwork skills. Applicants must be members in good standing of the New York Bar.
