Torys is seeking a mid-level associate for its highly regarded Funds Formation and Capital Raising and M&A groups in Montreal. The groups advise fund sponsors and institutional investors on fund structuring, negotiations and investments, and represent private equity firms and institutional investors in acquisitions and equity transactions. Candidates should have three to five years of experience in fund formation or M&A, ideally with investment fund exposure, or strong securities regulatory experience and an interest in private fund formation. Candidates must be members in good standing with or willing to become members of the Quebec Bar.
