Torys is seeking a mid-level associate for its Insolvency and Corporate Restructuring Group in Calgary. The role includes insolvency, restructuring and commercial litigation work, including mandates for court officers, lenders, debtors, creditors and purchasers. Candidates should have three to six years of post-call experience, exposure to the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act or Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act, commercial litigation or fraud claims experience, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and admission to or eligibility for admission to the Alberta Bar.
