Torys is seeking a mid-level private equity and M&A associate for its New York corporate group. The role includes advising private equity and institutional clients and portfolio companies on buyouts, co-investments, joint ventures, co-sponsor transactions and add-on acquisitions, with the ability to run transactions with limited supervision. Candidates should have approximately four years of relevant U.S. law transactional experience, significant private equity and M&A deal experience, strong interpersonal and client service skills, good judgment, and membership in good standing with or willingness to be admitted to the New York Bar.
