Torys is seeking an associate to join its Montréal litigation group. The role focuses primarily on large class actions, complex commercial litigation, investigations and regulatory disputes, with opportunities to work across the firm's offices on significant national mandates. Candidates should have three to five years of commercial litigation experience at a major Canadian or international law firm or recognized litigation boutique, experience managing files, advising clients, drafting legal opinions, pleadings and argument outlines, and representing clients in court. Applicants must be members in good standing of the Quebec Bar. Ontario Bar membership or a common law degree is an asset.
