The Capital Markets and M&A Practice Counsel will develop, manage and share capital markets and M&A legal knowledge within the firm. Responsibilities include monitoring market and regulatory developments, maintaining precedents and practice resources, sharing transaction deal points, collaborating on technology solutions, guiding lawyers on AI workflows, teaching corporate CLE programs, advising on legal issues, and preparing client bulletins, presentations and industry publications. Candidates should have an LLB or JD, be in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario, have at least eight years of relevant transactional experience, and possess strong securities law, research, writing, communication and collaboration skills.
