Drive the tram efficiently and safely on Alcatraz Island, provide friendly and professional visitor service, maintain the tram, manage boarding lines and crowd control, perform safety checks, monitor visitor safety, handle arrivals and departures, and respond to emergencies. Requirements include a valid state-issued driver's license, clean driving record, cleared preemployment background check, two years of customer service experience, TWIC, strong driving and communication skills, and availability for assigned shifts including holidays and weekends. Shifts are 8 hours and may start as early as 8:20 am or end as late as 10:00 pm.
