Perform and manage vessel and facility engineering maintenance, schedule preventive maintenance, supervise engineering and maintenance teams, repair and upgrade machinery and equipment, troubleshoot engines, generators, shaft lines and electrical systems, manage projects and budgets, maintain records, ensure regulatory compliance, and support fleet facilities and drydock planning. Requirements include a USCG Licensed Chief Engineer qualification on vessels of at least 4,000 horsepower or 1,600 gross tons, or a limited Chief Engineer license, lifeboat, advanced firefighting and STCW ratings, TWIC, First Aid and CPR certification, at least 10 years of marine experience including five years as a licensed Chief Engineer or First Assistant Chief Engineer and five years managing crew, plus strong ship systems, leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
