Maintain, troubleshoot and operate next-generation electrical propulsion and energy storage systems, provide engineering and mechanic staff support and training, commission and test systems, develop preventive maintenance programs, lead repairs, maintain lithium energy storage systems, DC fast charging systems, PLC systems, inverters and power generation systems, maintain records and inventories, and support safe and reliable vessel operations. Requirements include a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechanical engineering technology, field engineering technology or a related field, or four years of specialized industry experience at management's discretion. HAZWOPER, forklift, CPR and First Aid certifications, advanced circuitry skills, cloud computing literacy, Microsoft product proficiency, CMMS experience and a valid California driver's license are also required or preferred as stated.
