Perform routine maintenance and janitorial work on vessels and facilities, diagnose and repair diesel engines, vessel systems, pumps, electronics and engineering systems, fabricate parts, maintain dock systems, document repairs, mentor crewmembers, support hybrid vessel systems, and maintain tools, workspaces and preventive maintenance schedules. Requirements include one year of industry experience or successful completion of an Apprentice Mechanic Program, functional understanding of electricity and safe work practices, HAZWOPER certification, forklift certification, and CPR and First Aid certification.
