The Health and Fitness Lead will promote physical health, fitness, movement and wellbeing across TCW schools. The role combines direct delivery of Health and Fitness, PE, BTEC Sport and Physical Activity sessions with strategic whole-school planning to embed physical activity and healthy lifestyles into student provision. Responsibilities include delivering small group and individual sessions, planning differentiated lessons, marking and moderating BTEC portfolio work, tracking student progress, supporting emotional regulation and engagement, completing risk assessments, designing bespoke offsite physical activity programmes, supporting staff to integrate movement into lessons, organising sports days and wellbeing events, and maintaining PE, sport and fitness resources. The role requires A Level or equivalent experience in fitness, health or physical education, a passion for health and fitness, experience delivering sessions to children or young people, experience working with SEND and or SEMH learners, safeguarding knowledge, behaviour and engagement management skills, risk assessment ability, strong interpersonal, organisational and communication skills, independent working ability across multiple sites, and confident IT skills. This is a salaried full time, multi-location role based at South School, East School and offsite locations across London Zones 1 to 6. The role is expected to work during term time, with 10 specified out-of-term office days, and is delivered in person. The post holder will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
