Deliver Business Enterprise to KS4 students of all abilities and needs in small groups or on a 1:1 basis, including BTEC courses. Responsibilities include planning and delivering creative lessons, leading teaching assistants and support teachers, marking and moderating assignments, supporting course portfolios and curriculum development, attending exam board training, providing pastoral care, maintaining student records and reports, supporting student development and safeguarding, and working flexibly across onsite and offsite settings. Essential requirements include an A-level or equivalent qualification in a Business related subject, comprehensive experience teaching Business Enterprise to students with behavioural and/or special educational needs and disabilities, knowledge of business terminology, ownership models, finance, enterprise ideas, promotional mix and branding, teaching experience, safeguarding knowledge, strong organisational and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A degree or above in a business related subject and significant industry experience are desirable. The role is based across South London and East London schools, with weekly Thursday training. It can be full time by supplementing the role with core subject teaching. The position is term time during Monday to Friday and requires an enhanced DBS check.
