Annual course for anyone interested in the basic techniques of cultivating and initially transforming medicinal plants, including participants who already hold a herbal studies degree and wish to deepen their knowledge of plant production. The programme covers the world of medicinal plants, botany, agronomy, cultivation, drying, cutting, selection, distillation and the production of extracts and other derivatives. The course includes possible practical or applied experiences and a final written assignment on the cultivation and transformation of a medicinal plant species. Consumption materials and any personal equipment required for exercises are paid for by the student. There are 12 places available. The course runs for 40 hours annually, with 3 hours per week and 1 day per week.
