Working Well Trust is recruiting for two permanent Employment Support Worker roles in its supported employment team in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, one full-time and one part-time. The post holders will carry a caseload of clients who may have learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs or other support needs. The role focuses on supporting clients to achieve their employment goals, engaging with employers and training providers to secure vocational outcomes in line with client preferences. You will work closely with referring teams, provide a coordinated and client-led service, work to targets, approach and persuade employers to use the service, and support them to recruit clients and sustain employment. Experience of employment support is not essential, although experience working with people affected by learning disabilities and autism would be beneficial. The role operates on a hybrid basis, combining home and community working with three days per week in the Kingston office. Benefits include a 6% employer pension contribution, 30 days' annual leave and paid public holidays.
