As an IPS Employment Specialist, you will support people with additional support needs on their employment and recovery journey, helping them find and retain meaningful paid employment. The role involves managing a caseload of 20 to 25 clients, providing vocational profiling, job matching, action planning, employment case management and individualised in-work support. You will source job opportunities, engage with employers, negotiate workplace adjustments, build relationships with training providers and partner organisations, promote the service, maintain accurate casework records and work towards engagement, job and job retention targets. The role requires strong communication, listening, organisational and interpersonal skills, the ability to build trusting relationships, work independently and collaboratively, willingness to travel within a designated locality, and experience supporting people with health support needs or helping people obtain or retain work.
