Deliver technical accounting guidance and support to clients through complex transactions and business changes. Responsibilities include performing technical research and ensuring proper GAAP accounting treatment, drafting and reviewing financial statements with disclosures, conducting gap analyses, developing business requirements, supporting solution design, assessing the impact of new accounting pronouncements, authoring accounting policy documents, and working with accounting and finance teams on day-to-day activities and accounting implications. A bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is required. An MBA and/or CPA is preferred, along with 8-plus years of experience in external reporting or technical accounting, a strong understanding of FASB, US GAAP, and SEC rules and regulations, and excellent consulting, influencing, negotiation, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
