The Aboriginal Family Violence Legal Service, a Djirra program, provides culturally safe, trauma-informed, holistic and intensive legal and non-legal assistance to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who have experienced family violence or sexual assault. Senior Lawyers provide advice, representation and advocacy in child protection, family violence intervention orders, family law and victims of crime assistance, and supervise legal and non-legal work undertaken by Lawyers and Paralegal Support Workers. Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people are strongly encouraged to apply.
