Join the Aboriginal Family Violence Legal Service, a Djirra program, providing culturally safe, trauma-informed legal support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people impacted by family violence or sexual assault. Lawyers provide advice, representation and advocacy in child protection, family violence intervention orders, family law and victims of crime assistance. Senior Lawyers also supervise legal and non-legal work undertaken by Lawyers and Paralegal Support Workers. Relocation assistance may be offered for the right candidate. Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people are strongly encouraged to apply.
