Reporting to the Development Manager - Grants, the Senior Grants Advisor provides expert pre-award and post-award grants support to maximise the Institute's success in securing and managing competitive research funding. The role identifies funding opportunities, strengthens grant applications, ensures compliance with funding requirements, provides end-to-end grant administration, supports grant budgets and post-award reporting, coordinates meetings and workshops, and contributes to continuous improvement of grants processes. The successful applicant will be collaborative, client-focused, highly organised and proactive, with specialist knowledge of research funding processes, grant administration and funding compliance. Essential requirements include a postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience, demonstrated grants support experience in a research-intensive environment, experience with Australian and international funding schemes, grant budgets, application review and quality assurance, competing deadlines, multidisciplinary stakeholders, grants management systems and Microsoft Office. The role is based at St Vincent's Hospital campus, Fitzroy, with flexibility to work from home in accordance with company guidelines.
