The Electrode Production Technician supports research and development projects by fabricating, assembling and testing high-quality, custom-made implantable electrode devices and prototypes. Responsibilities include operating microscopes, welders and precision hand tools, manufacturing electrode devices, producing test samples and one-off devices, supporting new device designs, maintaining laboratory operations, completing cleaning, packaging and sterilisation procedures, monitoring consumables, assisting with equipment maintenance, maintaining laboratory records, supporting Standard Operating Procedures, and following quality systems and good laboratory practices. The role requires experience with micro-tools, fine assembly techniques or working under microscopes, basic computer skills, attention to detail, manual dexterity, a methodical approach and the ability to follow structured processes. Experience in precision device assembly, laboratory, cleanroom, engineering, quality or regulated environments is desirable. Training will be provided.
