Support the day-to-day operation of the Bionics Institute laboratories at St Vincent’s Hospital, Fitzroy, working with researchers and capability pillar personnel to provide laboratory and administrative support. Key responsibilities include maintaining laboratories and storerooms, managing inventory and equipment, coordinating calibration and maintenance, delivering equipment training and inductions, maintaining quality management records, ordering laboratory consumables and services, supporting procurement, and assisting with facilities and operational requirements. The role requires experience in a laboratory or research setting, strong Microsoft Office skills, organisation, attention to detail, communication, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Qualifications in a related field, training or competency assessment experience, and experience with a formal Quality Management System are desired. The role is based at the St Vincent’s Hospital campus in Fitzroy, with flexibility to work from home in accordance with company guidelines. The salary is $71,582 to $75,968 base per annum, depending on skills and experience.
