Design and develop client-facing applications, set expectations and feature priorities, determine development methodologies and toolsets, and conduct functionality, usability and performance testing. Follow coding quality standards, write clean and documented code, optimise front-end performance, and ensure responsive operation across devices and browsers. Collaborate with back-end developers, designers and other teams, improve development processes, monitor system performance, resolve issues, maintain technical documentation, and mentor junior developers. The role requires 5+ years of software development experience, including at least 3 years in front-end development, and at least 2 years of enterprise-level experience with low-code or internal application development platforms such as Bolt, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Superblocks, Retool, Appsmith, Palantir Foundry, Lovable or other AI rapid development tools. A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is required, along with proficiency in modern front-end frameworks such as Vue.js, knowledge of the web development lifecycle, Agile and test-driven development methodologies, coding, documentation and communication skills. Previous HR or payroll software experience and payroll knowledge are desirable. This is a permanent, global remote opportunity.
