Manage a residential community, supervise Resident Assistants, support student development and community building, respond to crises, and oversee daily housing operations. The role includes a 24/7 on-call rotation for about 50% of the month during fall and spring semesters, responding to emergencies, supporting residents and student staff, coordinating with emergency services, handling housing emergencies, holding student hearings, supporting conflict and behavioural concerns, developing Residential Life programmes, supervising and evaluating Resident Assistants, hiring and training new RAs, and supporting student move-in during Orientation. Requirements include a bachelor's degree, C1-level English and Italian, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, cultural competency, crisis response ability, organization, problem-solving, record keeping, and flexibility for evening and weekend on-call duties. Related crisis management, student life, health and wellbeing, Microsoft Office, Maxient, and conflict mediation experience are preferred. The role is full-time, live-in, 38 hours per week, on a one-year contract with possible renewal. Gross annual salary ranges from €21,500 to €23,400, with furnished accommodation, utilities included, and €8 meal vouchers for each working day. Valid EU working documents in Italy are required.
