Lead all aspects of the CHFS Arts & Literacy after school and summer program for youth ages 5 to 14 in Brooklyn and Queens. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe and effective program, overseeing programming and compliance, planning youth and family events, supervising and developing staff, reviewing lesson plans, modeling teaching and classroom management, coordinating schedules, managing enrollment and records, preparing reports, conducting community outreach, and fostering family engagement. The role requires a bachelor's degree in a professional content area, at least four years of experience in education or a related field, at least three years working with school-aged children, at least two years of supervisory experience in a comparable program, and comprehensive knowledge of the arts. A master's degree and bilingual capabilities in Spanish, Mandarin, or French are preferred.
