Provide community-based counseling services in clients' homes and other natural community settings to children and youth ages 0 to 21. Responsibilities include developing treatment plans with children and families, providing counseling, crisis intervention, rehabilitative supports, psychoeducation, referrals, progress notes and case records, weekly supervision, and required training. The role requires a graduate degree in social work or an equivalent master's degree in counseling, psychology, art therapy or a related field, or a bachelor's degree with at least two years of applicable experience in children's mental health, addiction, foster care, child welfare or juvenile justice. Candidates must have good writing and record-keeping skills, be able to navigate an electronic health record, travel to clients' homes and schools, and understand the roles of race, religion, ethnicity, sexual preference and individual values in serving clients and families. Spanish and English bilingual ability is preferred but not required.
