University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust is appointing two Non-Executive Directors to join its Board. The role involves determining the Trust's strategic direction, providing active leadership, ensuring effective governance and controls, monitoring performance, overseeing financial information and risk management, providing constructive challenge, supporting equality and diversity, working with NHS partners to improve health outcomes and acting as an ambassador for the Trust. Non-Executive Directors are expected to devote around 3 to 4 days per month and must be members of the Trust. The Trust is particularly seeking at least one candidate with a strong finance background and one with commercial operational management experience.
