NELFT NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Executive Director of AHPs, Psychological Professions and Social Work. The post is a VSM band Board-level role, responsible to the Chief Executive and notionally based at Trust Head Office, with agile working across the organisation. The role provides dynamic leadership for psychological professions, allied health professionals, peer support workers and social workers, including supervision and performance management of professional leads, development of professional practice, workforce plans, new roles and ways of working, clinical governance and Quality Improvement. The post holder will contribute to strategic planning, corporate policy-making, Trust performance, finance and workforce decisions, partnership working, equality, diversity and inclusion, and the development of a fair, compassionate and just culture. The successful candidate should have relevant senior healthcare leadership experience, a professional qualification as an Allied Health Professional, Psychological Therapies professional or Social Worker, experience leading professional and multi-professional groups, understanding of NHS regulation and legislation, sound financial understanding, strong communication, analytical, negotiating and influencing skills, and the ability to lead change strategically.
