The Intellectual Property & Contracts Manager will support researchers to protect and manage Bionics Institute intellectual property, prepare and review contracts, manage the contracts register and support commercialisation activities. Key responsibilities include managing the intellectual property portfolio, coordinating IP Committee documentation and meetings, advising staff on intellectual property matters, supporting IP due diligence, liaising with patent attorneys, preparing and negotiating contracts, maintaining contract records and ensuring contractual deadlines and conditions are met. The role requires relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience, proven contracts administration experience, knowledge of contract legal requirements, experience supporting contract or commercial negotiations, understanding of research translation and commercialisation environments, and the ability to manage confidential and commercially sensitive information. The position is based at the St Vincent's Hospital campus in Fitzroy, with flexibility to work from home.
