Monitor deck areas and passengers to ensure safety during ferry operations, handle lines and rigging, assist with boarding and disembarking, perform lookout duties, sell tickets and concessions, provide refreshments, and complete cleaning, maintenance, and minor engineering tasks. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid TWIC or ability to obtain and maintain one, First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain and maintain it, alcohol service certification after training, strong customer service skills, basic computer skills, a valid driver's license, and availability to work in a fast-paced environment. At least 18 years of age is required. Marine experience and one year of deckhand experience are preferred.
