Full-time mental health clinician position based in Fitzroy, Geelong or Canberra, with hours negotiable from 0.8 FTE to full time. The role is suitable for a Psychologist, Mental Health Social Worker, Counsellor or Mental Health Nurse and involves psychological assessments, therapeutic support for children, young people, families and adults, feedback sessions, secondary consultation, clinical documentation, clinical governance, projects, training and supervision. The successful applicant will work in a specialist trauma-informed care environment with supportive team culture, ongoing professional development, internal supervision opportunities and flexible working arrangements. Essential requirements include relevant professional registration or accreditation, a Medicare provider number where applicable, a current driver's licence, Working with Children Check and criminal records checks, at least three years' experience in health, disability, education or social services, trauma-informed practice knowledge, experience with functional assessments and Positive Behaviour Support plans aligned with NDIS requirements, and the ability to travel for outreach work and work outside normal business hours when required. Salary is commensurate with qualifications, skills and experience.
