The Case Manager Student Intern/Volunteer is trained to provide case management and referral services for clinic clients, work with managed care insurance companies to ensure authorization of treatment needs, perform administrative functions assigned by a supervisor, participate in research and outreach activities, maintain reports and documentation according to OMH, OASAS, and Hamilton Madison House protocols, and attend weekly staff meetings and in-service training. Applicants must be enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program in psychology, counseling, or social work, have an interest in working with Chinese-speaking populations, commit to a full calendar year, and speak at least one Chinese dialect fluently.
