Sands is recruiting a Virtual Fundraising Events Officer to support the promotion, organisation and delivery of a wide range of virtual fundraising events, helping to grow fundraising income and raise awareness of Sands' work. The role includes managing the Fundraising Facebook group, engaging with supporters, responding to enquiries, supporting Facebook advertising, processing fundraising pack orders, delivering supporter stewardship plans, drafting e-comms, managing the events section of the Sands website, carrying out market research and maintaining supporter records. Candidates should have relevant fundraising experience, experience organising and promoting virtual challenge events, experience developing income streams and donor journeys, excellent communication, social media and copywriting skills, strong IT skills, attention to detail and the ability to work flexibly, independently and sensitively with people who may have experienced trauma. The role is homebased and requires regular evening and weekend work.
