Home-based role responsible for developing and implementing the Sands Across the UK project, a targeted change programme across England. The role supports existing volunteers and volunteering structures during the transition, line-manages two Network Coordinators in the devolved nations, and leads project development, delivery, engagement and evaluation. Duties include developing strategies and structures, engaging volunteers, bereaved parents and external stakeholders, delivering workshops and events, supporting new ways of working, promoting diversity and representing Sands externally. The successful candidate will have experience delivering, managing and evaluating national or regional change projects, managing project events, leadership and line management experience, strong communication and relationship-building skills, project management experience, problem-solving ability, good time management and a demonstrable commitment to Sands' aims. Some evening and weekend working, travel across the region and UK, and flexible working across the UK are required. The role offers 28 hours per week, a two-year fixed-term contract, a salary of £27,800 per annum (£34,750 FTE) plus a £250 homeworker allowance per annum (£312 FTE).
