Organise and provide a varied and appropriate programme of activities that considers the needs, wishes and desires of individual residents. Duties include identifying residents' activity needs, liaising with residents, relatives, friends and staff, planning and delivering group and individual activities, maintaining records and an activities portfolio, reviewing participation, organising theme events and outings, participating in fundraising, attending some events outside normal working hours, and taking part in training and support meetings.
