Responsibilities include maintaining the grounds, removing external hazards, understanding the locations of fuse boxes and water and gas isolation points, completing or reporting repairs, checking the repair book, regularly checking fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, smoke detection equipment and fire appliances, maintaining lighting and equipment, oiling doors and closures, and ensuring the nurse call system is working. Access to your own transport is required for errands, with mileage reimbursed at the current mileage rate.
