The Food Server provides attentive food and beverage service, menu and beverage knowledge, accurate order entry and payment handling, guest communication, upselling, table and station maintenance, and support for front of house operations. Responsibilities include following health and safety regulations, greeting guests, explaining specials and promotions, entering orders into the POS, delivering orders, monitoring guest satisfaction, presenting checks and complying with liquor regulations. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years of experience in a high volume upscale restaurant, strong communication skills and a friendly, professional attitude. Knowledge of Asian cuisine or a barbecue style menu is preferred.
