Niku X is looking for a professional and experienced prep cook to work with the entire culinary team. Qualifications include 3 to 5 years of experience in a high volume or fine dining operation, a friendly and professional attitude, excellent communication skills, knowledge of food, culinary techniques and current industry trends, required California certifications, and the ability to read and follow precise recipes. Responsibilities include mise en place for daily service, working with chefs and servers to complete orders accurately and on time, cleaning and organizing the kitchen and equipment at the end of each shift, and ensuring kitchen procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations.
