A standard blood sample taken during the in-person diagnostic assessment to assess a blood-based biomarker associated with amyloid pathology. Results are reviewed and explained by the consultant as part of a structured evaluation including clinical history, neurological examination, formal cognitive testing and high-resolution structural brain imaging. It is not offered as a standalone investigation, screening product or direct-to-consumer service, and does not diagnose dementia in isolation.
