Fall Equinox Restorative Yoga + Healing Touch

Sat, 19 Sept

Co-offered with Michele Trump of Vital Roots Holistic Health. Join a gentle restorative yoga practice with long-held, supported postures and optional healing touch to soothe the nervous system, prepare for the season of letting go, and reconnect with a sense of grounding. People of all backgrounds, levels, sizes, and ages are welcome. No yoga experience is necessary. Students can opt in or out of hands-on touch at any time. Cozy layers, an eye cover, socks, and a favorite blanket are recommended. Pre-registration is required, space is limited to 10.

Yoga Therapy for the Neck & Shoulders

A small-group yoga therapy workshop exploring how posture, breath patterns, screen use, and everyday movement habits contribute to neck and shoulder strain. The practice includes gentle movement, supportive strength, restorative rest, breathwork, ergonomics and anatomy education, plus individualized practices and self-care tools. In studio only, limited to 6 participants. A short yoga therapy intake questionnaire is required upon registration. Beginners welcome. $60 per workshop, or $100 for both fall workshops.

Śavāsana as Corpse Pose: Practicing Death, Honoring Life

As autumn deepens and nature begins its steady turn toward darkness, we, too, are invited to turn inward and reflect on cycles of life and death, endings, transitions, and release. In many traditions, this is a threshold time: Samhain, Día de Muertos, All Hallows. It is said that the veils between the worlds of life and death grow thin, reminding us of impermanence, of how everything, from the falling leaves to our own breath, is part of a larger cycle.
