The Young Talent Producer will cultivate, manage and oversee the Lyric's Young Talent programmes, including Springboard, the Bill Cashmore One Act Play Award, Young Lyric Associates, Born in the Borough and artistic response projects. The role includes producing professional and participatory productions and creative projects for young people and emerging artists, booking artists, scheduling workshops, leading recruitment, managing contracts, budgets and partnerships, supporting young people pastorally, overseeing safeguarding, evaluating projects and contributing to the strategic development of the Young Lyric programme. The role requires experience of producing high quality productions and creative projects for young people and emerging artists, knowledge of the producing process, experience in a producing venue or theatre company, contract writing and knowledge of union and UK Theatre Agreements, budget management, partnership development, project and people management, strong IT and teamwork skills, and a commitment to safeguarding, diversity, inclusion and access. The post is part time, four days a week, 0.8 equivalent, fixed term until January 2028. The salary is £33,280 per annum pro rata. The role may include evening and weekend work and requires a current or application for a Disclosure and Barring Service certificate.
