Lyric Hammersmith Enterprises is seeking an Independent Non-Executive Director to contribute to the strategic direction, governance and financial sustainability of the company. The role involves bringing independent judgement, commercial insight and sector experience, contributing to Board discussions, reviewing commercial activity, supporting business objectives, and ensuring effective financial controls, risk management and governance arrangements. Expertise in food and beverage, contract management and proposition development, commercial venue hire, or commercial asset and operational management is sought. Applicants should demonstrate affinity with the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre's mission, leadership skills, an understanding of good governance, strategic development ability, commitment to public life and the Nolan Principles, strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative and inclusive approach, resilience, confidence, tact and authority, and the ability to devote the necessary time. The role is unpaid and voluntary, with travel expenses reimbursed. It lasts for three years and is renewable for two additional three-year terms, with a time commitment of six days per year.
