Produce Our Place, a new participatory budgeting programme for young people as part of Hammersmith & Fulham's Young People's Borough of Culture. The role will lead the development and implementation of a programme awarding grants to young people for creative projects, establish relationships between young people, trusted adults and cultural organisations, produce two voting events, support programmes across the borough, oversee partnerships, lead outreach and recruitment, embed youth voice, and support evaluation and reporting. Applicants should have comprehensive experience producing cultural engagement opportunities for children and young people, a track record of embedding youth voice, experience working with young people from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds, knowledge of safeguarding, diversity, inclusion and access, budget setting and financial management experience, excellent project, people and time management skills, and strong IT skills. The post is part time at 2.5 days a week and fixed term for 18 months. Salary is £33,280 per annum pro rata. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
