The Special Needs Teacher provides inclusive and individualized education for students with diverse learning needs. Duties include developing IEPs, differentiating instruction, adapting materials, supporting students inside and outside the classroom, assessing progress, collaborating with teachers, parents, counselors, and specialists, supporting social and emotional development, training staff, maintaining records, and following safeguarding and inclusion policies. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Education, or a related field, preferably relevant certification, at least 3 years of teaching experience, knowledge of inclusive education and intervention strategies, English proficiency, collaboration skills, cultural sensitivity, patience, empathy, and computer skills.
