The Physical Education Teacher promotes physical fitness, teamwork, health, and wellbeing through sports, structured activities, and movement-based learning. Duties include planning Cambridge-aligned lessons, integrating PSHE, teaching sports and movement skills, supporting motor development, adapting activities for students with SEN or physical limitations, maintaining safety and injury prevention practices, organizing sports events and clubs, assessing progress, collaborating with school staff, and participating in professional development. The role requires a relevant bachelor’s degree, preferably teaching certification, relevant sports or first aid certifications as preferred, experience connecting P.E. with PSHE, English proficiency, teamwork, communication and organizational skills, and computer skills.
