The English as an Additional Language Teacher supports non-native English-speaking students in developing speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills so they can access the curriculum and participate confidently in the school community. Duties include planning student-centered lessons, adapting instruction, assessing language development, providing feedback, maintaining progress records, developing EAL curriculum, collaborating with subject teachers, managing a culturally responsive classroom, organizing language clubs and cultural activities, and engaging parents and community organizations. The role requires a degree in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, English Education, or a related field, relevant teaching credentials, 2 to 3 years of experience teaching English to non-native speakers, curriculum design experience, English proficiency, teamwork, and strong communication and organizational skills.
