St. Nicks Alliance is seeking a dedicated lead teacher for its Small World Early Childhood Center in Brooklyn, serving children ages 2 to 5. Under the direction of the early childhood director, the lead teacher plans and implements developmentally appropriate curriculum, addresses students' social, emotional, physical, and cognitive needs, provides a child-centered learning environment, collaborates with assistant teachers, supports families, conducts observations and assessments, prepares progress reports, leads parent-teacher conferences, maintains regulatory and safety requirements, and supports classroom staff. The role requires a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. A master's degree or enrollment in a master's program, NYS Early Childhood Education certification, and bilingual ability are preferred.
