UnLocal is seeking a Senior Programs Coordinator to provide day-to-day oversight of its youth program and educational initiatives, including the New York State Dream Act and youth-focused career pathways. Responsibilities include strategic planning, helping students apply for the New York State Dream Act and access financial aid, managing partnerships, overseeing deliverables for the Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs contract, facilitating student-facing forums, guiding educational referrals, supporting grant opportunities, managing the Student Resource Hub Newsletter communication strategy, and representing UnLocal at conferences, coalitions, and public-speaking engagements. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 4+ years of experience in education, youth programs, or nonprofit program management, including 1 to 2 years in a leadership or program-management capacity, knowledge of higher education systems and barriers faced by immigrant students, partnership and program management experience, strong communication and facilitation skills, and a commitment to social justice and immigrant rights. Fluency in English, Spanish, and/or French is strongly preferred. The full-time position offers a $70,000 salary, health, dental, and vision insurance, commuter benefits, 401(k) access, professional development and wellness stipends, 40 days of paid time off, flexible Fridays, and a potential four-week sabbatical after three years.
